Young photographers of the Children and Youth Club “Šatrija” in “Echoes of the Classics”
This exhibition offers a unique insight into the world of photography – through the eyes of young creators. Children and young people aged 11-17 bravely embark on a journey through history in dialogue with the classics whose work has shaped the global vision of photography. They not only recreate the works of famous artists, but also interpret them in their own way, revealing how legendary footage can be reborn today.
The exhibition merges the learning process and creative experimentation. It is not just an exercise or a mastery of technique, but also an attempt to understand the essence of photography: how light creates a mood, how detail becomes a story, how aesthetics becomes emotion. Each work is an attempt by a young artist to get closer to the giants of photographic history.
“Echoes of the Classics invites the viewer to look at the art of photography not only as a heritage of the past, but also as a constantly renewing language in which the new generation is finding its voice. It is a tribute to the classics and at the same time the first steps towards an independent creative space.
The exhibition features works by the students of the photography club of Vilnius Children and Youth Club “Šatrija”.
