Women’s choir “Dainų sodai”

The Women’s Choir “Dainų sodai” has been in existence for five years and has developed an active concert activity during this period. The ensemble performs on various occasions and cooperates with renowned professional orchestras, including the representative orchestras of the Lithuanian Armed Forces and the Ministry of Interior.
The choir has been awarded the title of laureate in the international competition “Paribio Dainos”, and its performances have been heard on numerous occasions at important state events: at the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania during solemn sessions, at concerts dedicated to the Defenders of Freedom, and at the state funeral of the 1863 rebels at the Vilnius Cathedral, where “Dainų Sodai” sang together with other prominent ensembles.
The choir actively participates in various cultural events and festivals, including the festival dedicated to the jubilee of J. Naujalis at St. Catherine’s Church, the Semeliškės Arts Festival “From Laurynas to Rokas”, and the Vievis Festival “I’m Coming Home”.
The group has appeared many times at the openings of artists’ exhibitions, performed in Vilnius city libraries, schools, polyclinics, and is often invited to sing St. The choir is also invited to sing at masses in Vilnius Bernardinai, St. Ignatius, Pavilnio Kūdikėlio Jėzaus, Grigiškės Holy Spirit and other churches.
The choir’s most beautiful songs are captured on the CD “Be with Me”, which reflects the group’s musical sensitivity, stylistic diversity and love for choral music.
15 March 2026 The women’s vocal ensemble “Dainų sodai” of the Naujosios Vilnios Culture Centre has been awarded the 2nd category diploma in the national competition “Silver Voices”. This is a significant and honourable achievement, reflecting professionalism, hard work and love for music.
