Vladimir Kiryanov photography exhibition “Horizons of the Sea”

The author of the exhibition is a long-distance captain, a third-generation sailor. His grandfather, father and uncle dedicated their lives to the sea. Born in Klaipėda, Vladimir grew up surrounded by salty winds, waves and the hustle and bustle of the harbour from his earliest days, and his family’s history is inextricably linked to the sea.

The romance of the sea has been with him since childhood. During his travels across the world’s oceans, he captures spectacular seascapes, unexpected angles, exquisite skies, fog and coastal panoramas. Each photograph is an authentic moment seen through the eyes of a sailor.

At the opening of the exhibition, the author shared stories about his travels around the world’s oceans and the memorable sights captured in his photographs.

The exhibition invites visitors to embark on a visual journey and see the world through the horizon of the sea.
The exhibition will run until 16 January 2026. In the open space on the 3rd floor of the Naujoji Vilnia Culture Centre
