“Lendrūnas,” a folk dance group for seniors

The “Lendrūnas” ensemble was formed in 2006 and has been actively participating in the cultural life of Vilnius from the very beginning. The ensemble is a regular participant in Lithuanian song festivals, and its activities are characterized by a consistent commitment to preserving national traditions and performing in concerts both in Lithuania and abroad.
“Lendrūnas” is proud to have participated in major national and international festivals and competitions, including “Kaziūnės suktinis,” “Veliuonos kadrilis,” “Jievaro tiltas,” “Pora už poros,” and “Trepsis.”
The group has performed in Latvia, Poland, Croatia, Germany, Albania, Sakartvelo (Georgia), Baku (Azerbaijan), and a particular highlight was the opportunity to represent Lithuania and Lithuanian folk dance traditions at the 15th North American Lithuanian Folk Dance Festival in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, USA).
