The exhibition “Visions of Silk” by the women’s club studio “Artbaltica” of the Grigiškės Culture Centre is on display at the Naujosios Vilnios Cultural Centre.
The exhibition invites you to immerse yourself in the delicate and colourful world of batik, where silk comes to life through the imagination, care and skill of the creators. The works on display reveal not only the beauty of the batik technique, but also each artist’s distinctive artistic style, moods and sources of inspiration.
The works were selected for the exhibition by the head of the studio Natalija Babelčius – an artist, icon painter and talented artist whose creative path is closely linked to the art of batik. She is constantly deepening her knowledge, sharing her experience and inspiring others to create.
The exhibition features works by Olga Antonenko, Jolanta Meiduviene, Jurata Liachovič, Maria-Birutė Lieguviene, Galina Sluisarenko, Nadezhda Rubanskaya, Tatiana Chepkyeniova and Natalia Babelčius.
“Silk Visions is more than an exhibition. It is a space for creativity, communion and self-expression, where experience, colours and new artistic discoveries meet.
The exhibition is on display in the open space of the 3rd floor of the Naujoji Vilnia Culture Centre until 30 May.
