Naujosios Vilnios culture cenThe groups received funding to purchase national costumes and musical instruments
Order No ĮV-632 of 27 August 2025 of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania approved funds to partially finance the acquisition and production costs of folk, archaeological and historical costumes and musical instruments for amateur art groups.
The Naujosios Vilnia Cultural Centre, which submitted the applications, received funding for the purchase of folk costumes for the Youth Folk Dance Ensemble “Vaiva” and the Senior Folk Dance Group “Lendrūnas”, as well as for the renewal and replenishment of the musical instruments of the Folk Music Band “Antraip”.
The following funds have been allocated for the implementation of the project:
2510 EUR – funds from the Lithuanian National Centre for Culture;
2010 EUR – co-financing from Vilnius City Municipality;
500 EUR – contribution from the Naujoji Vilnia Culture Centre.
The total value of the project is 5020 EUR.
This funding enables the groups to continue and strengthen their activities, to renew their representative outfits, to uphold the traditions of folk art and to ensure the quality of their artistic performances.
The Naujosios Vilnios Cultural Centre thanks the institutions for their support and hopes that the renewed costumes and the purchased instruments will contribute to even richer cultural activities in Vilnius.
