Marius Čiplis’ exhibition of graphic works “My Colourful Life”

The artist was born in Vilnius in 1973. He graduated from the Vilnius Evening School of Adult Art (now the J. Vienožinskis Art School), and later studied graphic arts at the Art Institute (now the Academy of Fine Arts). He followed a long and searching creative path until he discovered a distinctive form of expression.

The exhibition presents the artist’s latest discoveries, which are very different from his early attempts. Čiplys says that he enjoys discovering new forms of expression: ‘The abundance of shapes and colours enriches my work. Colourful dreams become reality for me and reality becomes colourful dreams. I have always dreamt, strived and aspire to make people happy, if only for a brief moment, with my work.”

The exhibition runs until 13 July. The exhibition will be on display in the 3rd floor atrium of the NVKC.
