9 May at 16.00. A special evening will be held in the Great Hall of the Naujoji Vilnia Culture Centre to celebrate two significant anniversaries – the 80th anniversary of the youth folk dance ensemble “VAIVA” of the Naujoji Vilnia Culture Centre and the 10th anniversary of the folk dance group “Dalužė” of the Vilnius Culture Centre.
The programme of the event will invite you to recall different periods, to feel the continuity of traditions and to see the creative path of the groups up close. It is a living testimony of how folk dance connects generations, fosters cultural identity and inspires communities.
We invite you to honour the origins of Lithuanian culture by preserving and cherishing the traditions that connect the past, present and future.
