The programme is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of M. K. Čiurlionis, the most famous Lithuanian artist and composer who ever lived. The composer and painter, who has left the most distinctive mark on Lithuanian culture, is a unique artist in the history of European art. Moreover, Čiurlionis was a great man of letters, as evidenced by his letters to his beloved fiancée, and later his wife, Sofija Kymantaitė. The programme includes Čiurlionis’ letters to Sofija, memoirs of his sister Jadvyga and his peers, piano pieces and his favourite Dzuki folk songs. The performance is interactive – the audience is not only introduced to the genius’ work, but also involved in its performance.

This programme is a musical journey, featuring the most outstanding works by Lithuanian composers (K. Mašanauskas, V. Ganelin, B. Dvarionas, etc.) and world-famous songs by world-famous composers (A. L. Webber, L. Fabian, L. Dalla, S. Brightman, etc.). The pieces are linked by a special theme – the things that are eternal to man: Love, the Sun, the Earth and the Stars. This is music in which words are transformed into light and sounds become a bridge to the inner world of man. It is an invitation to stop, listen and feel that the miracle lies close by – in song, in sight, in sound. After the concert, everyone is sure to take away a piece of light in their minds, eyes and hearts. Indrė Anankaitė – the owner of a beautiful voice – has won many awards in international singing competitions. She has participated in the LRT musical project “Golden Voice” and others. She is a member of the band IL SENSO. Indre performs both operatic and popular music.
