The youth folk dance ensemble “Vaiva ” is a collective that cherishes Lithuanian folk dance, music and traditions with respect and dedication. Over the many years of its existence, Vaiva has raised many generations of folk art lovers. The members of the ensemble constantly invite new dancers – friends, brothers, sisters, and sometimes even their children – to join them. In this way, the chain of the ensemble’s traditions is naturally continued and strengthened.
“Vaiva is a regular participant and winner of Lithuanian song festivals, national folk dance festivals and competitions. The ensemble is also active on the international stage – its performances have delighted audiences in Hungary, the Czech Republic and other countries.
