Soft rock band <\/b>“Gele\u017einis Vilkas”<\/b><\/p>\n

The band was formed in late 2023. The trio was brought together by a love of music, perseverance, a determination to pursue their dreams, and a touch of creative madness. Although none of the band members have formal musical training, they are all united by a sincere dedication to music and a constant desire to improve. <\/span><\/p>\n We are people from different professions and with different life experiences. We started our musical journey relatively late, but it was \u201cGele\u017einis Vilkas\u201d that became the place where we discovered a common creative language and found our musical home. Some of the band members had previous stage experience, but this band has become their most important creative project. <\/p>\n \u201cGele\u017einis Vilkas\u201d is a band formed by Lithuanian Poles, which is why its name is often used in Polish\u2014\u201c\u017belazny Wilk\u201d\u2014in public discourse. Born and raised in the multicultural Vilnius region, the musicians naturally blend influences from different cultures into their music, and their repertoire features songs not only in Lithuanian but also in Polish. <\/p>\n The band\u2019s sound is shaped by a charismatic vocalist who performs the songs while accompanying herself on acoustic guitar, while the bass guitar and drums provide the rhythmic foundation. Most of our repertoire consists of original songs, and our musical style encompasses lyrical rock ballads, alternative rock, punk rock, and elements of metal. <\/p>\n Although the group has not been around for very long, we have already performed more than 40 concerts and won the favor of audiences at various events and festivals. We participated in the Vilnius qualifying round of the International Father Kazimierz Szwarlik Christmas Carols and Pastorals Festival, where we won second place, as well as in the \u201cKol\u0119dowe Serce Wile\u0144szczyzny\u201d festival at Gliti\u0161kiai Manor, as well as in the International Polish Community Song Contest \u201cDo s\u0142\u00f3w Agnieszki Osieckiej,\u201d where we received a special award. <\/span><\/p>\n What matters to us is not only our concert activities, but also the opportunity to share music with those who need it most. That is why we volunteer to perform at nursing homes and care facilities, believing that music can bring joy and comfort and create a special connection with our audience. <\/span><\/p>\n We view every performance as an opportunity to grow, improve, and share our work with the audience.
